christmas feasting

hey weiliang, i think M&S has christmas pudding so you can get from there if you are having all these hunger pangs and food cravings... :)

yes we should haev a 'cell meeting' in singapore with weiliang, tricia, ady koh, eliza and jean!

You guys are making me very hungry...

Eh Ade, Hsien, bring back some pudding for us who are stuck in poor ol' sg... Hope cell has been going well all you people :) I see there are new additions, glad for that too! If you visit this page, welcome, welcome! :P
Greetings to Ben, Steve, Emily, Jia En, Tim as well... man... it seems like ages since we last met... Its only been 5 months since i last saw most of you... but time passes crazily, and grasping onto it... well, its like grasping the wind yah? I'm sure it must feel this way for many of you, in your last yr in uni as well. Well. The journey's only begun. And it's crazier than i imagined it would be.

And that's pretty darn crazy.

Sorry, being random. But miss y'all. Even those who aren't going for the Christmas pudding. (!?)

Okay. i'll shut up now. bye. :P

Decisions Reached

1. Yes for Yorkshire pudding
2. Turkey and Lamb (with Mint Sauce on the SIDE)
3. Cake, Christmas Pudding AND ice cream.

So this is what we'll do for the desserts - can the following people bring these items?

Steve - cake
Emily - pudding
Tim - ice cream
everyone else - ice or bottled drinks

question i need to ask hsien and ben if these items are going to go into the total bill and then we split it evenly or are they people's contributions? if they are, i'll assign more people to pudding and ice cream (and even steve's cake) so that there isnt that big a difference in amount paid.

NEW DINNER PLANS!

hey guys,

Dinner plans have been changed!

Week 9 = evangelism so we will be meeting at the end of it for pizza at Rootes Bar rather than have dinner.

Week 10 = CHRISTMAS DINNER!

by popular demand we shall be having an English Christmas feast, which according to Emily means:

roast potatoes
stuffing
honey parsnips
peas
brocolli
meat (pork/turkey/duck/beef?) - we have have a variety... small servings of each meat if you want
gravy
pudding

do you want yorkshire puddings as well?

anyway, i can do the cooking because i am feeling cooking-opportunity-deprived. this is part of the cure... will be collecting money for this, just to cover cost. might be about GBP4 or 5 for it in total (very dependent on what sort of meat and how lush we want the pudding to be...).

People coming so far:

Hsien
Ben
Emily
Jia En
Tanya (fresher)
Su Hsien (fresher)
Steve
Tim
Adeola - new addition!
ME

Please tell me by thursday at cell so i can do some mental calculations...

Thanks guys!

i wonder who still reads this

hey guys!

i am wondering if anyone still reads this blog...

anyway, i will be back in the UK in 14 days! so all you still on campus, DONT RUN AWAY! esp if i didnt get to say goodbye before i left...

i hope that everyone has been having a good holiday so far. a year has passed and it seems that so much has happened. but God is amazingly wonderful and He has truly blessed my life this year. i know that all of us have a tendency to be sad that people are leaving, the year ahead seems daunting and generally depressed thinking back at fond memories or regrets and knowing that the year ahead will never be the same, but we should not get down but look to Him and be filled with His joy.

and in response to ben and hsien's email, i'm pretty ok with any night...
